RNC’s Priebus looks at 2016 as ‘do or die’

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/01/rncs-priebus-looks-at-2016-as-do-or-die-114334.html

After four years spent rebuilding and rebranding the GOP — and on the eve of a modern-record third term — Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus says it could all be for naught if Republicans fail to win the presidency next year.
“Running an RNC without the White House for another eight years — 16 years total — will be near an impossible task,” he said in a phone interview. “I don’t think people realize how hard it is to run a national party … without a president.”

Expect that they will be ruthless in their efforts to keep all but "their people" from voting or being counted. We will need to fight equally ferociously.

Maybe it's like those murder mysteries where someone says, ".... over my dead body!" And the next thing you know....

With the money guys like Sheldon Adelson and the Kochs are pumping in to the Republicans, along with the added free air time provided 24/7 by billionaire Rupert Murdoch's Fox "News," people will still vote Republican by the tens of millions even if their official platform is to reduce 95% of America to slavery with no health care at all, no education at all (aside from religious indoctrination), inadequate housing and infrastructure, and no right to dissent.

At such point when they've "and all they can stand and are not gonna take it any more," they will have lost their voting rights to Diebold machines that will provide the results their Republican programmers wish them to, just as they have been doing since 2002. At some point, they will be the only vote counters allowed by (Republican-introduced) law, and Stalin will finally have his portrait hanging in the Republican cloakrooms of the permanent Republican majorities in the House and Senate.

9. Oral Roberts used this tactic years ago, and it worked

Oral quit appearing in public and told his supporters that if he didn't get more support (money) that God would "take him home". Worked like a charm, and Oral raked in millions.

This is the same tactic targeted at the same people.

changes. History shows that a long stretch out of power makes political parties change their principles. The 80's and early 90's made the democrats and the UK labour party change. Hopefully 2008-2020 will do the same favor to the republicans.

Romney's 47% will be just north of 45% in 2016. And they know it. They can push to turn-out the max of their demographic in 2016, suppress our vote, and win in 2016. But by 2020/2024 that becomes almost numerically impossible.

If we don't allow ourselves to be outhustled in 2016 they are in a very, very bad place with regards to ever winning the White House short of a total party make over.

If we can reverse the gerrymandered majority they have in the House by winning at the state level in 2020 we can get back and keep the House for a long, long time.

14. Didn't Mr Rinse Penis say about the same thing, just prior to the 2012 elections?

It sounds so familiar. And then they lost!!! About a month later, reviewing damage control, they said they had to change to win. Well, they didn't change jack sh*t. In fact they have made their party look worse. Maybe Rinse can put his name in for the crazy train too? WTH, why not? Hell, Rmoney's there. Perry, Walker, Graham, Huckabe. I know there's plenty of room left on the crazy train.

Come on down, you're our next contestant on "The Crazy Train".
