I have been watching C-SPAN all morning.

They explained in detail about the issues surrounding pensions.

I advised both of my Senators to vote no on the Cromnibus Bill and to shut the government down.

Wall Street does not need protection.

The citizens of the U.S. need protection from Wall Street.

The person I talked to at Sherrod Brown's office sounded excited.

The person I talked to at Portman's office sounded mad.

4. Donald Norcross was wrong on that one . . .

But his brother is considered a NJ Democratic Party 'power broker'. *sigh*

What's key with Norcross is he ran on a federal LIVABLE minimum wage.

If he thinks that is going to happen while the House and Senate look the way they do - he is sadly mistaken. So whatever trade off he made - just hope he realizes that the Republicans from NJ he voted with will throw him under the bus the first chance they get.

...and I have not heard Obama or the White House state exactly why they wanted to pass it. I thought we still had a "second" political party in this country. Besides the theocons in the GOP, I mean.
