Chuck Todd makes yet ANOTHER idiotic comment, gets roundly (and rightly) mocked

Todd's comment: "Um. Weird clip from #flgov all because of a fan. The ask seems weird but so does refusal and no show footage is bad." No Chuck, using a fan in Florida is not "weird." But is it "disqualifying" in your sage opinion? (snark)

P.S. What's actually "weird," Chuck, is one thing only - Rick Scott's refusal to come out and debate because Charlie Crist was (totally reasonably) using a small fan, as allowed by the debate rules, to keep comfortable in the Florida humidity (and the hot lights on stage).

How can you be expected to deal with the stressors of being governor if you are flummoxed by a fan?

All Scott had to do was say, "Sure, no problem." And that would have been the end of it.

2. But if the fan wasn't made in China by underpaid workers, then it wasn't a Republican fan.

3. I think Rick Scott was hoping to create an issue, like the one that sunk Alex Sink.

One of her less astute assistants called her during a debate and she made the mistake of answering the phone. The Repubs rode that one in to the election.

But, it looks like Rick Scott overplayed his hand.

Ed reform with invalid high stakes tests ruining kids educations and determining teachers careers, Drug testing State employees and welfare recipients (with overwhelming negative results) with a company his wife owns getting paid to do the testing, multiple appointed staff indicted and/or resigning in disgrace and finally over a billion in medicare fraud by a company he was CEO of AND him taking the 5th before congress 75 times about said fraud. Overplayed is an understatement!

has better judgment, and not being allowed things like charts, pointers, graphics etc. in today's day and age is kind of silly....use what you want, it is your debate time, use or misuse it as you please...bring the family, bring your IPad and laptop and cell phone, whatever...bring an orchestra, the voters will decide.
