About what you would expect for a mid term election in a red district.. Just getting people to tune in is tough.. uhhhh.. I will be honest with you.. there are too many oldsters volunteering .. Last time I phone banked.. (Now I am on Medicare.. so you know my age basically) I was by far the youngest person there.. sigh..
But the signs for our local Democratic canidates are up everywhere.. we literally ran out of them .. people wanted them so bad.. soooo.. when I look at signage around town.. we are looking mighty good on the local level.. mighty good..
PPP poll came out yesterday, and the six points Braley was down on Sunday.. well he is down only 2 now..
The social security mess that Ernst and King jumped in on.. is haunting them big time with older republicans.. People are not embracing Democrats so much.. they never would.. people are pretty tied into the party they belong too.. but they sure as heck do not embrace what the republicans are trying to throw out now..
That is just the bottom line from my little district.. I think we are going to do much better than what was anticipated a year or two back..
