2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhen a police chief and prosecutor protect a murderer, are they part of organized crime?
When a police chief protects a murderer (several eye witnesses and other compelling evidence) and shows his hand through prejudicial future jury tampering, he cannot be seen as doing his job, protecting the public.
When his buddy, the local prosecutor, fails to put an apparent murderer in jail pending investigation and/or trial like any normal citizen, he and the police chief can no longer be viewed as part of an unbiased "justice system".
No, IMO, they are now part of an organized crime syndicate
