Election 2014--what we should fear most was spelled out by the man from Georgia

Not Atlanta-type Georgia, but Tbilisi-type Georgia. Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, otherwise known as Josef Stalin.

He once said, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything." For a bunch of fanatics who describe themselves as "anti-communists," our Republicans sure do worship the words of one of history's most famous communists.

We should make election manipulation, from denial of voting rights to fraudulent counting of votes cast, a major felony with a mandatory 15 year jail sentence. Public funding of future elections would be a good next step, but the Kochs and their like own too many politicians to get that one passed any time soon.

We might need to build an all-Republican correctional facility, but that was probably long overdue anyway.

Bush caused so much damage, damage we'll pay for into the foreseeable future - and I'm as sure as I can be that he wasn't elected either time, he was installed in 2000 and the vote got flipped mid evening in 2004.

Democrats are guilty of too much trusting of computer voting and the Republicans.
