One of the truly truly evil people in history. Right up there with Hitler in my opinion. And I can't think of many others I feel that way about.

I don't recall feeling that way about anyone else, just an evil and conniving man. And, after all the harm he's caused, American lives lost while he had numerous deferments, he's still out there spewing his own brand of crap...

It never hurts to refresh your memory. I've got my handful of books that I can pick up any day of the week and everything I read again is just as important as the last time I read it. It doesn't matter If I read it last week or last decade.
I really enjoy those few outlets that are available that dig down in the dirt to give a better understanding of the world around us and how we interact.
I'm not a neurologist or neuroscientist, but I truly believe that the brain absorbs and processes information differently. Even if that is not correct, just think about it. If you watch or view something to inform yourself, once you hear it or see it, it's gone.
If you do the same thing with the written word, you have the chance to go back and read it again, and again, until you can process what those words really mean, if they mean anything or are just word salad or meant to deceive or distract you from what's important about what's being said.
Seriously critical and analytical thinking has been so constrained in my 6 decades or so, and don't discount the effect of the TV machine, most of us can't think straight or discern fact from assertion or put in the effort to check on what they're being told by US corporate media.

My best professional skill was always as a diagnostician. It served me well in my profession and I think it serves me well in getting a broader view of the effects of US policy and it's effects on the world around us and their effects.
I just wish I was a better investigator/hacker. If I was I might be able
To dig down into the truly important things that have gone on in my lifetime. Perhaps if I had the financial resources or didn't have a house to take care of.

All our troops killed or injured ( some permanently) for what!

So that Cheney, Bush and oil company execs can get richer,

How evil

I was wondering why the regular show wasn't available online. Those documentaries are at a different link.

Thanks for the info. Saw that a couple months ago but I'm glad it's getting a replay... especially after PBS/Frontline ran the "Nation of Secrets" set.
