SAHIL KAPUR MARCH 24, 2014
President Barack Obama's new Obamacare bumper sticker sure looks familiar.
Below is the pro-Obamacare bumper sticker unveiled and promoted at BarackObama.com, which is now run by the president's advocacy group, Organizing For Action.

(5,170 posts)I try not to tread near them, much less on them. Usually the bumper stickers, the stupid hats, and the confederate flags in the rear window of the pickup tip me off in plenty of time.

(468 posts)I love to see the fight. This is better than the mealy mouthed "I'm running to fix Obamacare" nonsense. Stop with the timidity and smack the teabaggers in the mouth every once in awhile.

B) Shot at by a bunch of NRA hillbillies waving REAL Gadsden flags?

(1,062 posts)Give me a break... "Don't tread on me" was not a Tea Bagger slogan first, they co-opted it from history (1775) flags and have since besmirched and misused it. And, before that it was Ben Franklin (1771)... a guy not known for his "tea bag" like philosophy.

Nothing was otherwise implied.
If the art work looks unoriginal, it should. It's a play on the tea party-embraced "don't tread on me" slogan, which dates back to the country's founding but has been a fixture at anti-Obamacare conservative rallies in recent years.
