Related: About this forumTexas Republican Endorses Shooting "Wetbacks"
From Ring of Fire:
Texas Republican and U.S. Senate hopeful Chris Mapp is staunchly anti-immigration and apparently sees no problem with using racism and murder against undocumented immigrants. He believes that ranchers should be allowed to shoot wetbacks, a racist term used to refer to hispanics, on sight.
Mapp told the Dallas Morning News editorial board that ranchers should be allowed to shoot any wetbacks that step onto their land while crossing the border. In another testament to his over-the-top and inflammatory ignorance, during the interview he also called President Obama a socialist son of a bitch. The Dallas Morning News offered their endorsement of Mapps opponent, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) in that same article.
But rather than redact his statement and apologize for it, he doubled down and defended his statement and position in the San Antonio Express-News.

LET'S LAY IT OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL. NO BREAKDOWN HERE!

That is enough of the defense from his facebook page. He has gone cap lock, writes with the impassioned "your" and has even started replying to individual comments. That campaign seems to be imploding fast.
To your comment though, I don't think he even realizes why what he is saying is wrong. He probably thinks that only explicit threats count and that implicit threats should be overlooked - if he even understands it to that level.
P.S. Weirdly enough, in his replies to individual facebook posts he says:
That cannot help him with conservatives.
That was not the only time he put himself proudly on display. Here is another gem:
Bizarre!
