&feature=player_embeddedWhat You Missed: A Virtual Road Trip with President Obama 2/1/2014
This afternoon, President Obama traveled (virtually) around the country via Google+ Hangout to answer questions about his State of the Union Address from everyday Americans. Starting on the West Coast and heading East, the President spoke to Sheila in San Francisco about immigration reform; Darnell, a fry cook at a fast-food company in Milwaukee, about raising the minimum wage; and Rob in Portland who simply asked, how are you?

(37,457 posts)As a human being, he's a really great guy. It's good to see him in this way periodically, aside from press conferences and photo ops, etc.

(9,298 posts)I believe the Obamas are going to remain a team, much like the Carters. When Barack leaves office, he and Michelle will still be relatively young with great potential. It will be fascinating to follow them in the years ahead.

(1 post)Just wanted to thank you guys for your support. I woke up one morning and I saw that there was a contest to record a vid. All I could think to say was to ask him what first came to mind. I turned on my camera and the next thing you know I'm on national TV talking to the president. I am working to get that beer so if anybody knows anybody who can help me get the beer with the president, I would be deeply indebted. Rock on everyone. And go solar! Www.solarAmerica.org
