2. If the National Dem party were smart

They would put a lot of effort into unseating Walker. I am seeing a push for him to run for President since Chrispie Christie went down. Stop him now.

I think the National Party knows they will probably not win Congress. They may lose seats. I think they will selectively spend their money in the Congressional races. Maybe try to gain a few seats but certainly don't lose seats. They are going to spend a lot of money on the Senate races. Losing the Senate, which is possible, would be a disaster. It would really be hard on the President if they lose the Senate.

I believe they feel it is an upward battle to unseat Walker. They won't spend much money their unless something really changes. Might try to do some campaigning to force Walker to use up some of his money. It is also the reason Burke was the favorite to be the Dem nominee. She has a lot of money. Family owns Trek Bikes I think.

5. Polls don't mean a damn thing.

If people don't vote. Turnout is everything. And conservatives typically outvote us liberals, especially in non-presidential election cycles. If we voted in the numbers that we truly represent here in Texas, this place would have been blue long ago and Ted Cruz would be trying to sell me a used car.

There are many people in Wisconsin who are against recalls unless there has been a clear-cut violation of law by the politician in office. They're opposed to allowing a "second bite at the apple" as it were.

Some of the polling I saw showed people really didn't like Walker, but were equally opposed to voting him out in the middle of his term.

I think a general election will end with a different result.

11. IMHO I think he "won" because the people didn't like recalls in general

not that they necessarily approved of him. A general election should prove more indicative of people's feelings about Walker.
