Apathy!

The ORC/CNN poll also indicated that voter enthusiasm is low for the midterm elections, although the projected apathy is heavier among Democrats.

Source: CNN Poll: Democrats winning the apathy race

Historically Democratic voters stay away in droves in midterm elections. Midterms only matter in places like ... Wisconsin ... Florida ... Ohio ... Pennsylvania ... [is your state next?]

Meh! So what if apathy buys us six more years of obstruction, of Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Paul Ryan ... ?

PS: in case sarcasm sensors are inoperative, meaning of post is: "Apathy bad, voting good."

Calling Will Pitt!

for Walker's recall was about as horrible as it is during midterms. It wasn't just democrats staying away either, plenty of repugs never voted.

I can only ponder as to what the reasons are for cheddarheads not voting, some might be deer hunting, beer drinkin', shaggin' at the roadside saloon, training their dogs to hunt down raccoons, disobedience training for their children, ice fishing, installing gun racks in pickup trucks, planting more dead appliances on the front yard, deer hunting..oh, wait...

I'm thinking the only way we'll see Boner or Mr. Turtle go away is when they're sitting in chambers at their tables with blank stares and gray skin, at the point of decomposition, they would need to be loaded up and hauled away.

I guarantee one thing though, we Wisconsin Democrats won't be sitting on our asses this midterm, voters are genuinely pissed off at Walker. But with any hope, Walker will be indicted before the midterms.

I just received this in my mail box today from Eddie Munster, ooops, I mean Paul Ryan.

http://paulryan.house.gov/uploadedfiles/2013_annual_report_to_taxpayers.pdf

Can somebody debunk the House's 2013 Annual Report on the United States Government please?

In the graphic/pie chart, they're claiming that Social Security gets 23% of government funding, while defense is 18%.

And of course, I was correct, the flyer I received in my mail is basically just propaganda about the ACA, they're still calling it Obamacare.

Their copy online is slightly different than mine in the mail, they're showing page 4, the back page as page # 2 online.

Please look at the second page online in the upper right hand corner, it states that the mailing was prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.
I always thought it was unlawful for government officials to use taxpayer dollars for the purpose of propaganda, lies and misinformation.

and I wanted a well informed Democrat to visit this thread and debunk Paul Ryan's pie chart, and also answer the question I had about spending taxpayer money to badmouth the ACA, somehow, to me, that doesn't sound like it would be legal to do.

All if the graphs and pie charts from my Google searches only produced Reich Wing rhetoric, hits on heritage dot org and other RW biases.
