Report: Liz Cheney's Husband On Voter Rolls In 2 States

CATHERINE THOMPSON – DECEMBER 19, 2013, 9:12 AM EST

Liz Cheney's Senate campaign in Wyoming continues to be dogged with news about her family.

Politico reported Wednesday that Cheney's husband was registered to vote in both Virginia and Wyoming despite signing a document in the latter state saying he was not registered elsewhere.

Phil Perry registered as a Wyoming voter in March with the Teton County clerk's office, according to Politico. County clerk Sherry Daigle told the publication Perry "signed an oath saying he was not currently registered anywhere else."

A spokeswoman for Cheney told Politico that the Wyoming Senate candidate's husband had notified Virginia authorities to remove his name from the voter rolls, but did not say when he did so.

We moved from MA to IL in the fall of 2004. Since this was a presidential election year, I was very concerned that I would be able to cast my vote (for Kerry) properly in the new state.

I made a specific point of going to the Town Hall in my town and asking the recorder for a form to fill out that supposedly would remove me and my husband from the voter rolls. I did it, and moved on in early September. We then registered to vote in Illinois.

After the November elections, my daughter called and told us she'd been to vote in the MA town we'd left, and that our names were still on the roster (her name was next to ours in the roster book you have to sign in on to vote). I thought maybe it just hadn't been removed yet. But sometimes I wonder: I still get emails from my old state representative. But maybe once you get on their list, you never get off. Who knows. But I have no idea if I'm still registered in MA. Since I haven't voted there in 9 years, I don't really care. I did my duty--they may not have done theirs.

So let's pass laws that take the vote away from Democrats.

In my county, we caught a candidate for county commissioner bragging at a GOP event that he had been voting both in Texas and Pennsylvania for a couple of cycles. The local democrats investigated and it was not hard to document this crime. Here is Juanita Jean's description of this event http://www.juanitajean.com/2012/10/10/true-the-vote-can-kiss-my-big-blue-butt/

Bruce Fleming is the Republican nominee for County Commissioner, Precinct 1, in Fort Bend County. He won in a runoff election. Bruce was also named Precinct Chairman of the Year last year by then GOP County Chairman and thug-about-town Rick Miller. Miller then recruited Fleming to run for county commissioner which seemed like a good idea at the time since Fleming is unemployed....

In 2006, 2008, and 2010, Bruce voted in person in Fort Bend County and by mail in Pennsylvania in the same general elections. According to his financial disclosure forms, Bruce Fleming also owns a house in Pennsylvania. (He homesteaded a house in Texas and a house in Pennsylvania, but that illegality is a whole ‘nother story.) Bruce felt that owning houses in both states gave him the right to vote in the same elections in both states. That’s a third degree felony in Texas.

Bruce’s Fort Bend County voting record
(Obviously one of those Rush Limbaugh Vote for Hillary in 2008 voters)

Bruce’s Pennsylvania Voting Record

Yes, it’s the same Bruce Fleming with the same address and the same birth date. And, even though Bruce registered in Fort Bend in 2006, he’s still an eligible voter in Pennsylvania. We’re still checking to see if he’s asked for a ballot by mail in Pennsylvania this election.

The funny thing is that the GOP candidate lives in the same county as the crazy lady who formed True the Vote. Juanita Jean had some fun with this fact http://www.juanitajean.com/2013/03/28/an-open-letter-to-cathy-engelbrecht-queen-of-true-the-vote/

Dear Ms. Engelbrecht,

As head honcho of the King Street Patriots and True the Vote along with being a neighbor of mine, I tragically and mistakenly assumed that you thought voter fraud was serious bidness.

I was very mistaken. True the Vote is just a money raising scheme for you. I apologize for any damage that my false assumption may have caused you on your quest to rock stardom in GOP circles and your own slot on Fox News.

Early last October we gave you rock solid Supreme Court proof that your own personal candidate for County Commissioner in Fort Bend County, Bruce Flemming, voted in two different states – Texas and Pennsylvania – in the same damn elections.

Again, republicans only care about voter fraud when they can use this claim to steal the vote from minorities.

Can this even be considered news anymore?

*Technically he's not a Cheney, but he's part of their crime family nonetheless
