but for the sake of his health, he really should start hitting the gym or at least go on walks daily, in addition to cutting back on fatty food. I can understand a person being slightly chubby and maybe inheriting that in his or her family, but CC is obese, and people such as those at Politico are acting like that is fine. Whenever he talks, it sounds as though he has breathing problems.

1) His rabid dog approach to handling dissent or questions from voters who disagree with his policies.

2) Sweating like a stuck pig during the summer months when the campaign hits the outdoor festival circuits.

Anyone who thinks Christie's health endangering weight problems is going to be a selling point for the voters needs to quit huffing glue.

Overweight people are treated differently than people of average proportions. Whether its in the workplace, the entertainment industry, social settings or public venues, our society tends to reject and dismiss fat people out of hand.

Is it unfair? Yes, its a prejudicial stereotype, but unfortunately this type of discrimination is widespread and pervasive, and has very real consequences for obese people. Christie, like other 'successful' heavy people, will have to show himself as being far superior -- in everything! -- to all other candidates to compensate for his ungainly appearance and overcome the burdensome stigma of his weight.
