were allowed to do that.

(35,701 posts)Of course if a policy has a very high deductible and it doesn't cover preventive care it is going to be cheaper. But the policy holder is going to pay more, lots more in many cases.

In fact is the ones who think they don't need it and therefore never go to a doctor who probably need it the most. It is kind of like thinking that if one doesn't go to the dentist they will not get cavities.
