"Wendy Davis Redefines ‘Pro-Life,’ Enrages Anti-Choicers"

“I am pro-life,” she told a University of Texas at Brownsville crowd on Tuesday. “I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future. I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else.”
“This isn’t about protecting abortion,” Davis explained in the same appearance. “It’s about protecting women. It’s about trusting women to make good decisions for themselves and empowering them with the tools to do that.”

Keep government out of your (or our or women's) vagina(s).

Don't insert the government between you and your doctor.

The Pro-Government position want Government-mandated trans-vaginal probes. It wants the government to review health decisions.

It's also racist. Part of the agenda is to increase the birthrate in the white population to counteract immigration and the higher rate of contraception among white women.

Don't insert the government between my legs. Or...
Keep the Government out of my vagina.
Kick the politicians out of my bedroom.

By the way...pregnancy is a medical condition and aren't medical conditions considered private by law? (HIPAA)
So why can Politicians delve into my medical conditions and decisions? Isn't that against the law? Someone should take that to the SC.
A baby is part of it's mother until it's born, is breathing and has a name and address. Only then is it a legal person with rights of it's own. And the mother still has the say when making medical or personal decisions regarding HER baby.

There have been a number of death threats made already against Senator Davis http://www.burntorangereport.com/diary/14279/

The comments on Greg Abbott's Facebook posts are getting very, very ugly.

Abbott's male supporters are routinely making death threats against Wendy Davis.

... a man demands that someone shoot Davis. There are far too many examples of this kind of rhetoric up and down Abbott's official campaign Facebook page. This escalates the disgraceful rhetoric his campaign has already promoted -- Abbott personally thanked someone who called Davis "retard barbie" and the campaign's top strategist publicized an article calling Davis "too stupid to be governor".

Worst of all, the Abbott campaign appears not to moderate its comments at all to weed out such hateful, violent remarks
.

They can't understand the irony in their charge. I try not to beat up on them but sometimes, maybe more often then before, they bring their ignorance to a level that needs counteracting. Especially when it starts affecting life.

We will fight for your life even if it includes killing other life, what ever it takes, but after your born we don't care whether you starve to death, live in poverty, can't get health care, Oh the irony continues endlessly....

There are some stupid people and that's ok but when they organize and it start's to affect other peoples lives, you know like when they die frequently, then it needs to be reigned in and re-assessed.

The choice of words determines the argument. Democrats have been behind Republicans in this regard and Wendy has taken a step that should have been taken from the get go. "Pro-Life" is all inclusive and Pro-Choice people can make a stronger claim to the phrase. By taking the phrase away from the right we automatically brand them "Anti-Choicers".

I mean, look at their agenda. With the exception of a hand-full of people with consciences, most anti-abortion activists vote for politicians who oppose medical care and nutrition for pregnant mothers, natal care after they're born and chilhod immunizations, Support savage cuts for SNAP programs and school lunches, and making the workplace better for parents.
