Right? Don't worry BigD - we'll get the party machine back by going after every single NJ politician that endorsed Christie. We did the best we could for Barbara (already voted for her) . . . let's start looking for people to primary the turn coats and kick their asses out of Trenton.

We can't control what the WH does/or did - but we can control these mayors and bullshit assembly people that endorsed that pig from hell Christie.

I still don't get why Christie has been endorsed by so many Democratic politicians in the state, but his lead is as insurmountable as de Blasio's is in NYC. They are both going to win by a landslide.

As for VA, the Clintons are personal friends of McAuliffe and they owe him for all the years that he supported them in their campaigns. Even if he was losing by a country mile, they would be there for him like he was there for them.

Seriously, I am so depressed about this. I am a black woman and the thought of nearly 30% of NJ blacks voting for this is simply repulsive! That so many are being fooled by him just makes me sick. Too bad both my father and brother moved from Jersey last year and back to Georgia. They would have surely supported Barbara Buono who has been a great candidate, despite what people here have said. She can't help the fact that she has no money a little name recognition. That's not her fault!

I for one will vote for Buono, but the majority will vote for Christie. Maybe it's his bombastic personality, lots of people like his style. I find him rude and irritating.

Well. hang in there. This election is a lost cause. I'm hoping that McAuliffe wins in VA. The Cooch is one scary guy.

I'm hoping to see Hillary or Bill if they come back there. Personally I'm afraid of what the Rethugs are up to. I've seen some really shady stuff going on. I'm really nervous about the AG's race between Obenshain (R) and Herring (D). Obenshain is a really scary dude. I mean, he's scarier than Cooch. Insane!! But people don't know about him or Herring. Herring is leading slightly but it's a statistical tie. It simply can't be that close. The good news is that money is pouring in from out of state to help Herring. Even Mayor Bloomberg--as much as I hate him--is spending money on campaign ads against Obenshain re: pro-gun laws. So, I'm going down to canvass and make sure people are aware. Turnout matters. The wingnuts are out in full force. We got to get our folks out, too!

Buono's toast, and nice words from Obama or Clinton are not going to turn that around; they would only serve to feed a narrative that claims that the president and the Clintons are fading in popularity, and nobody needs that going into the midterms.

Other states where republican Governors are running for reelection. The VA race might end up being the only pickup we get out of these Governor races. And it didn't have to be this way.It seems the party made the decission to run ALL females this time around.Time for a new DNC Chairman. Debbie is HORRIBLE!!!

Michigan: Mark Schauer: tossup
Ohio: Ed FitzGerald: tossup
Florida: Charlie Crist: tossup
Maine: Mike Michaud: tossup

The only place where a Woman is likely to be the nominee is Pennsylvania, which is our most likely pickup opportunity

Not surprising your post was met with crickets. Not a good idea for the OP to challenge DUers to look something up and when they do, it totally disproves the OP's contention.

A President...and a former President...don't waste their political clout on someone who, to be blunt, is clearly going to lose, whether DLC or progressive (btw, Obama and Clinton helped out that notorious Blue Dog Elizabeth Warren). The sad truth is that NJ voters LIKE Chris Christie and he's leading by 20-30 points. A Presidential visit might make you feel good, but it won't change the vote enough to be worth it.

Don't forget about what Christie has done to:

1. Teachers
2. Cops and firefighters
3. Tax giveaways to big business and Wall Street
4. Efforts to kill jobs through disinvestment in the NY-NJ Port Authority project
5. Rejection of ARRA funds that would have improved NJ infrastructure, but instead, going along with congressional Rethugs and their anti-Obama filibuster
6. Anti-choice measures
7. Pro-gun, pro-NRA stance (he's only pretending to be reasonable on this issue, but make no mistake, he needs the NRA if he wants to even be considered a Rethug primary candidate in 2016).

As soon as he is reelected, MARK MY WORDS...

CHRIS CHRISTIE WILL MOVE TO THE RIGHT FASTER THAN YOU CAN BLINK AN EYE!!

Because he is eyeing the Republican nomination for 2016, he will be forced to move to the right!

He WILL NOT finish his term as NJ governor. Obviously he can't.

Those blacks that stupidly supported Chris Christie will have egg splattered on their faces. He is NO friend of black people.

Yes, this same guy who argued for STATES RIGHTS when it came to outlawing racism and discrimination. Yes, THAT Chris Christie!!

Black people are making a HUGE mistake!!! Just like they did in Ohio and Florida in 2004 when they supported Bush!! They are doing it again!! And why?????? WHY??!?!??!!?!??!?!?!
