Sources: Word of alleged rude GOP comment came from WH deputy chief of staff
Washington (CNN) - The rude comment that might or might not have happened just isnt going away, with sources telling CNN that word of the remarks came from White House Deputy Chief of Staff Rob Nabors.

According to the sources, Nabors told the story to four Senate Democrats Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, New Yorks Chuck Schumer, Washingtons Patty Murray, and Durbin on October 15, near the end of the shutdown.
Reid then told the story to the entire Senate Democratic caucus, identifying the Republican in question as Texas Rep. Pete Sessions.

(13,877 posts)that propels regularly from a Certain Caucus. But it's a bad no-no to call one of your supporters a liar. Doesn't look like it's going to go away. Good. Even better news is, that more of us have your back than you know, PBO and White House Staff.

(16,975 posts)If the elected representatives act like children, let the world know. I doubt if Sessions' cheeks will burn with shame, but I am glad that such an immature man doesn't represent me. I'm stuck with Johnson, who is a johnson...
