Santorum leading door-to-door ‘Strikeforce’ to save Cuccinelli’s campaign

Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum announced over the weekend that he would be heading to Virginia with a “Strikeforce” to help save Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli’s struggling campaign.

In a tweets on Friday and Saturday, Santorum asked followers to join the so-called “Strikeforce” being organized by his Patriot Voices political action committee.

According to a fundraising email obtained by Right Wing Watch, Santorum promises that his “Strikeforce will go door-to-door and hold sign waves during the weekend of November 1-3 to help get Republican voters to the polls!”

“Ken Cuccinelli, an unapologetic conservative, is running against liberal, Clinton-insider Terry McAuliffe,” Santorum wrote. “The polls show McAuliffe leading, but Ken can pull off a victory with our help.”

If I opened my door and he was standing there, I'd slam it shut.

I would call the police and tell them there's a man impersonating a failed senator standing on my porch, and because I feel intimidated by his presence I want the police to remove him.

That's what happens. He needs a job. It's kind of like putting himself against Hillary elevates his standing, even though it's a failed mission. But then, he's used to that.
