In my district, Michigan's 7th, Koch Brother's toady Tim Walberg is behind in polling by 9 points against a "generic" Democratic candidate. The thing is, we actually have a legitimately viable candidate in Pam Barnes, but not many have heard about her yet.

Here is a recent interview with Pam Barnes in Michigan's great political blog, Eclectablog:

I don't know him and I dislike him. When is the election? Would like to send a donation.

There needs to be an organized effort to fund opponents to these yahoos (yes Yoho to). The idea is to develop a cadre of people who pick one of these people and concentrate donations to help get them out of office. Some may not be vulnerable because there are just too many like minded voters in their districts to overcome with donations but, worth a try. I am not sure that the current sources are focused enough to take them out.

Looks like you forgot Steve Stockman who is currently in the House of Representatives.

But keep up the good work.

Just checked and the longest listing is for the state of Texas--where everything is bigger. Even the stupidity.

BTW, I live in Texas.

You have my condolences, truly. My dad's best (blue) friend lives in Plano and is going pretty nuts. Maybe we should organize a DU fund-raising extravaganza for Texas only. Beginning now.

My congressperson is on the list (Tom Price from Georgia). I assure you I've never voted for him, but I live in a conservative district

and that doesn't even include Issa. I think it's a matter of paying very close attention in the next few months as candidates come forward who have a prayer of knocking these knuckleheads out once and for all.

I'm happy to say there is a great woman running against him - Gwen Graham (https://www.gwengraham.com/). She is the daughter of Bob Graham so should have the political savvy to handle whatever the tea party backers throw at her.

I've already signed up on her web site and hope to volunteer for her campaign if they can use me.
