Please stop saying that John Boehner is some kind of reasonable moderate. I keep hearing how he

really wants to settle things and do what is best for the country. Even from Democrats.

This is absolute bullshit. He is as right wing as any teabagger and the only things he cares about are keeping his cush job as Speaker, his crush on Ted Cruz, and how soon he will get his next drink.

Enough already!

I used to live in Cincinnati and saw Boehner up close. He never struck me as an ideologue. I think the main problem is that he values his power as Speaker of the House more than doing what's right for the country.

I would add "cowardly" to his list of faults, as well.

Steve Kornaki (sp?) filled in for Maddow tonight and was saying Boehner really wanted to put the Senate bill up for a vote but he couldn't get it passed. I don't think that's true. I think it would have passed, just not the way the Banana Republicans want it passed, with the Hastert "this is a totally made up bs" Rule.

Like Boehner is the victim of the far right wing. He shares the ideology, and is doing exactly what he wants, and is willing to shove our country under the bus.

who loves his job more than his country. Is he as batshit crazy as Cruz? No, but that's hardly something to celebrate.

toward their goal of US default. He could have stopped this long ago if he were a "reasonable moderate".
I listen to a lot of his speeches and statements. They are no different than Louis Gohmert, Michelle Bachmann, Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin.

lead to no good results. Otherwise, he does not want to do what is best for this country. How many jobs has he costed this country. And he ran on creating new jobs -- a smoke screen.
Time to take back the house next year and run this country the correct way and make it stronger again.
