Why do republicans hate the middle class?
Why is Congress which caused the shutdown, getting paid? While other federal workers are working without pay?
There are federal workers working for us without pay. They will get their pay when the government starts working again.
These workers need to buy gas, public transportation child care and they are not getting paid to work till later. Their co workers are sitting at home and will receive the same pay as those who are working every day. Is this fair?
Why should Congress not get the same deal? They have no incentive to get the government back working if they are getting paid.
Shut the government down! Nobody gets paid till the situation is resolved. This means Congress. Especially Congress.
PS. I have no relatives working for the federal government. I do not work for the federal government.
