"It's about GENDER, stupid!"

Bill Clinton (all Clinton haters take a deep breathe here) finally came to the conclusion that his reelection was about the economy—not anything else. Thus, his comment “It’s the economy , stupid!
And now we head into the next election cycles of 2014 and 2016 and the common commentary will be “It’s about Gender, stupid!” Some may think that will not happen but from my 50 year viewership of these elections I see women playing the front side of politics. We have seen Elizabeth Warren put Senator Brown politely in his place, and several newscasters have learned, to their chagrin, to do their homework before interviewing her.
The brightest, and most intelligent and caring spots on the horizon are Wendy Davis in Texas, running for Governor and Allison Lundgren Grimes running to unseat Senator Gridlock, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. These will be significant races because they could turn these Red states Blue, or at least darken the purple a bit.

And for 2016 the GOP has begun to really alienate women with their sexist and ignorant campaign buttons. The good part about this is that Hillary Clinton will only work harder to win.
