pentagon news softens urgency (so says the headline in the local fishwrap, the gazette telegraph)

interestingly enough, this does not appear on the website anywhere (if anyone else has located it, please indicate the link. I tried!)

this is the first part of the article:

"the urgency to end the government shutdown eased saturday as the pentagon said it would recall nearly all furloughed civilian employees, and house republicans shifted their attention to a broader budget battle with the white house"

okay, this pisses me off. all is well now, since the mic has their functionaries back, and screw the rest of us. "the sense of urgency" is GONE--what the **** about the other 400,000 federal employees, and everyone else affected by this insanity. but. . NO--the pentagon is okay, problem over.

It was not consistent with the messaging of 'no piecemeal approach' and 'no pitting workers against each other.'
