there's no indication she was armed; capitol police shot her because she was driving erratically, ran stop lights and wouldn't stop when being chased by cops.

Seems more probable this was a person with psychological problems. We shall see.

Much more info needed. The driver apparently tried to ram the WH gate with her car (baby on board). Was it intentional? Was she suffering some type of medical or metal problem? Hard to tell at this point. MSNBC shows high speed car chase, so I suspect she was trying to flee, but I have no idea why. Guilt, paranoia, fear?

A friend of mine (in her 80's) died in an auto accident last week; however, eye witnesses said her head was slumped forward before she was hit. Also, there was very little blood at the scene, although she had injuries. Those 2 things would lead me to believe she may have been dead before she was hit (her car was across both lanes of traffic), but it would be hard to tell without autopsy reports.

She was in possession of a 2000+ weapon and had already shown craven disregard for human life when she hit the Secret Service agent.
It's easy to second guess the police when you're not actually there at the moment of the crises.

Agree. If I were to run any barricade in DC - the White House, the Capitol, the Supreme Court I'd expect repercussions . But with the WH - certainly to be shot.
