Just posted this in reply to a fb post

that was about world wide reaction to the government shutdown.

This was the news report: http://thinkprogress.org/security/2013/10/01/2707751/how-the-world-sees-the-government-shutdown/

Here's what I said:

You don't negotiate with terrorists and you don't play nice with bullies. This handful of Representatives in the House are terrorizing the USA with their bullying tactics. Time to smack them down and put them in their place. They all took the following oath of office: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.” Seems to me it's time for the Attorney General to put together a case against the 30 or 40 folks behind this mess to charge them with whatever is appropriate: dereliction of duty? sedition? treason? and throw their butts in jail so the rest of Congress can get on with the jobs they were elected to do.
