This week was a week that shows the stalk difference between Presidents and ideology. One ideology revels in the constant drumbeat to assert superiority and war to feed what Eisenhower called the military industrial complex. The other ideology asserts that ALL humans are deserving and that war is always a last resort. One ideology believes that collectively everyone does better while the other believes that if a few succeed massively, their crumbs will be enough to sustain the masses.

These ideologies are not expressed in these rather obscene terms generally. They are however reflected in the budgets passed by our government, in the wars we choose to fight, and in the access to opportunity we choose to give our citizens.

I want to explore these issues today. Most importantly I want us to empower ourselves be a part of the solution already underway. While it may seem a daunting and lengthy task we all are the solution.

We will talk about all these issues on the program today.
