Since Obama is in charge they are going to be against it. And so far, not that many Democrats have spoken out. Get the joke?

6. In the last 4 or 5 years have you seen Congress do anything?

Other than obstruct and play games.

3. Congress, from what I heard, is in near revolt.

Republicans won't do it because they don't want a Kenyan born black President to bomb anyone or be Al Qaeda's Air Force.

Democrats don't back it either, but I can't think of a pithy funny reason why, though it might be with only about 10% support for action in Syria they don't want people to remember next year when they have a chance to take Congress.

The President should consider other options for punishing the Syrian Government/Rebels.

7. It would be nice if they got their asses back to Washington

As of now they aren't due back until Sept 6th. Obama should call them back a few days early.
