He's shown extremely bad judgement, and seems to lack respect for others. Not fit to be Mayor.

3. If he wants a true progressive to win a mayoral position in NY, he should drop out!

He's now more of a distraction that won't win and just hurts the other Dems running in the race that might have a shot at winning...

I've supported him in the past before it became obvious this man has some serious mental disabilities that he needs to deal with in a more private and personally scoped set of treatments. I think he had the opportunity for a quick recovery (politically), but that is blown, and I think now it will take years of dealing with it properly before he can even think of getting back in to a political life, if he has that chance at all any more.

If he values a good personal life, he should focus on that now. His wife and his family need that personal space too, as it is doing them no good to have to constantly face a public barrage of questions on these topics that aren't relevant to what the city of New York needs to deal with now too.

5. Evidently Weiner didn't fight hard, but instead did grandstanding that made it look like he did

Many of us fell for it, but when evidence and facts get included the entire thing is laid bare.

Starting in paragraph six is a bit about a New York Times article about Weiner's grandstanding for the cameras.
