Screw the N.Y. Times...

Use to be a time when the paper use to point out both sides of an issue and let the readers fend for themselves..I for one do not care for a second about his private life... Especially because Weiner never
ran on a social values agenda and never once talked about family values.. So I simply couldn’t care less.
On the other hand as a hard left Liberal I like A.W. because he can be a son of a bitch when going after political enemies. He’s intelligent and cares about what most of us care about on this site.

So I say, how come the Times did not at least consider this side of the story?

I find myself wondering if we will EVER get out from under the damn over-weighted CURSE of it. I feel like I'm walking around carrying a Mack truck on my shoulders.

A bit of prudery is one part of it.

A loathing for corruption is another.

The push for universal literacy, at least among men, was a Puritan thing.

However, I think the point in the media is a valid one. Liars are gonna lie and cheaters are gonna cheat.

And voters are gonna vote. Let them decide.

their community serves up to others daily is hilarious in an off putting 'look at the hubris' sort of way.
Reading this blather about why a politician should be free to lead a double life out of the same community that is sanguine about the fact that it is fully legal to discriminate against LGBT people in 29 States of this nation in employment, housing and in any other way y'all might wish is really startling. How dare you pretend that such things offend you when you live your life each day knowing that MILLIONS of innocent, honest people who are not lying to the press are subjected oppression for their own sexualities. You say you could not care less and that is a stark but accurate confession.

How the hell do you know what i think about the subject matter you ranted away with..
You know nothing about me and are actually making stuff up.. Just like the people who make our country almost intolerable to live in because of their hate towards minorities, LGBT, and anyone else who does not live up to their standards...Spewing crap at me is simply that...crap!

I could care less about his sexting and since I don't live in New York, I could care less about whether or not they elect him mayor.

Elliot Spitzer is another matter...

this situation that happened with AW was bad because it now begs the question regarding why he deserves the trust of New Yorkers. But on the other hand, all of this is also a diversion from more important issues that the city faces. As I heard someone point out yesterday, the person who ends up overtaking him and winning may not be the better person for the job. If I lived there and could vote in that election, I would be extremely torn on who to vote for.
