He can't answer the question.
Every time I see him I ask which GOP candidate he supports ... and he babbles incoherently.
For fun, I asked him which is a bigger threat to traditional marriage ... adultery, or same sex marriages ... I thought he'd have a stroke.
I'm loving this.

(4,062 posts)My local friends are passing around the Newt: Family Values image.
You know. When you use the daughters of your first wife to try to discredit your second wife as she says bad things about your third.
To me, that represents a small bit of hope.

(27,787 posts)they just hate the man.
And they scream words like "socialist", "commie", "fascist" and so on, simply because they can't scream N****R!.

(4,667 posts)Sarah Palin will never be President. Running for President requires work. It requires intelligence. Her entire persona is a sham.
The person who should be kicking themselves is Tim Pawlenty. He dropped out after the meaningless Iowa straw poll. There is no doubt had he stayed in he would be a major player today. He must have a lot of sleepless nights over his lost opportunity.

(34,857 posts)I thought there would be a lot of jockeying, some tense moments, but once the votes started coming in, the party would coalesce around Mitt Romney and things would be about as uneventful as most other Republican primaries.
But this...this is turning into 1992 all over again for the Republicans. Romney is Bush, Gingrich is Buchanan. The end result will be similar: a crippled nominee who spent too many months fending off the right that he lost the middle.

Right Wing Thunderdome. Two clowns enter. One clown leaves.
Is that an owl sitting on Newt's sholders or is it the woman with 'what's her name'.

It's like going to a Michael Bay movie and not being surprised that a lot of things exploded.

(26,219 posts)We may have been fractured in the Hillary/Obama race, but this is a sight to behold.
The "front runner" could almost be a calendar based on its schedule of the flavor of the month.
Now Santorum, Romney and Newt all have wins? Really GOP? Does this mean that Ron Paul gets Florida?

(19,107 posts)This Republican fiasco is beyond the wildest dreams of any Democrat. Not only are the candidates destroying each other, but money is being wasted here that could have been saved for the general election.
Obama is trending up and looks like a large favorite to win in November now.

Tonight's episode should prove particularly entertaining....Can't wait!
Cain was definitely kicking himself for getting out early after Newt won SC.
