pump her own name for another election? Is she running as Margaret Thatcher's long lost daughter? Why is she challenging a far-righter?

there will be a Republican bloodbath here. Enzi is well liked and has been loyal to the party, he just doesn't like the dirty side of politics and we all know what the Cheney's are capable of. Wyoming usually votes 3 to 1 -Republican--and the Democrats have never had a chance. Alan Simpson said last week that this could turn Wyoming over to the Democrats for next 20 yrs. There are only 3 electoral votes here so we don't need 'em for the Electoral college-----but what a wonderful way to get a new Senate seat----a Democratic governor and a redistricting nightmare for the Republicans. This is a fight for all of us to watch. Thank you Dick Cheney. And everybody watch the video closely----she has Daddy's teeth---just love it----are we sure that Lon Cheney is not a part of this. Ok that was less than appropriate. Sorry..

And thank you RudynJack for the post----I've been waiting for this.

this is almost like we are writing their playbook. So we see the lineup coming for 2016 -----jeb Bush/Liz Cheney-------Rand Paul wants the President seat so he backs Enzi to stop Cheney from gaining power =---oh I just hope this will start the fighting ----not just in Wyoming---but a Republican circular firing squad the likes of which we have never seen before-----this is big Rudynjack----thanks again for springing it

Well, one can hope, anyway. From what (little) I know about Wyoming, I do hope it's not a state considered a lost cause. Maybe it's a severely red state, but then I keep being remembering Howard Dean's "50-State Strategy" when he was DNC Chair. From 2005 til just days after Barack Obama got elected President in 2008. And if we'll all recall - there were two election cycles in there, on his watch: 2006 - when the Dems took back the House ("hello Speaker Pelosi!&quot , and then winning the White House back in 2008 with the start of the Obama era. The DNC establishment wanted to keep all money, attention, and control inside the Beltway. They floated several of their own preferences for DNC Chair in 2005. One of 'em, He wanted the resources spread out from coast-to-coast, because he didn't want to write anybody off. How'd we do in the next round, after Howard Dean stepped down and we went back to the standard Beltway Way?

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/11/10/dean-steps-down-as-dnc-chair/

What was the next election cycle? 2010? Hmm... how'd things work out for us that time?

Won't one or the other be knocked out in the primary AND whoever gets through will be bad news for the Senate and America?

she is saying what we want her to say----the only way Liz Cheney can get to the Senate is through Wyoming----which votes 3 to 1 Republican------the current Senator is Mike Enzi---very conservative----well liked -----and heretofore a friend of the Cheney's---since her announcement yesterday all hell has broken loose in Wyoming and on the national scene----Rand Paul has immediately cast his support to Enzi----this putting the Tea Party up against the Cheney's------and ultimately Jeb Bush---------if we could write a playbook on how we would want them to start fighting we couldn't have done better----the Republican war that could start in Wyoming could spread and we could see am unprecedented Republican circular firing squad -----

a sort of Christine O'Donnell thing ... But won't a cheney losing in the primary signal to other GOP candidates that where they are is fine.

This would be far better if she were running for a House seat.

Maybe Dave Freudenthal could siphon votes...

This would be my surprise Democratic pickup if it's done right.
