or caucus and only really represent the looniest part of the state right wing. Even the repubs in No VA are scared of them.

That said, VA Du'ers need to GOTV.

Their DFA and their "purple to blue" initiative is working as big a ground game as they can afford in order to spare Virginia the disgrace and the horror of having Ken Cuccinelli as their governor. Even with a certifiable whack job as their Lt. Gov. candidate, the Virginia Republicans are not as far back in the polls as they should be with such an extremist ticket.

I've given Howard and Jim what I could spare. This race will have repercussions far beyond the borders of Virginia. If Republicans figure that they are better off with candidates like Christie of NJ than Cuccinelli of VA, at least when we lose a few, as we always do, we won't be quite as deeply in mourning as we now are for states like WI, MI, FL, KS and ME. At least when Sandy hit NJ, he actually cared enough to work with Obama, and work fast to help the victims. The governors of the above-named states give me the impression they'd do nothing else than sit around impatiently and wait for the hated federal government to show up to bail out their sorry asses, and then curse them after they've left for not doing enough.
