MyGod, so because they dislike Obama we should continue to have massive amounts of tragedies effecting tens of thousands each year?...
Shouldnt the DNC make the the poster for all future elections?.. Says it fucking all....

Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) revealed that some members of his party opposed expanding background checks for gun sales recently because they didn't want to "be seen helping the president."
Two weeks ago, only three Republican senators voted for the bipartisan background checks amendment sponsored by Toomey and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), despite overwhelming popular support for such a measure.
"In the end it didnt pass because we're so politicized. There were some on my side who did not want to be seen helping the president do something he wanted to get done, just because the president wanted to do it, Toomey admitted on Tuesday in an interview with Digital First Media editors in the offices of the Times Herald newspaper in Norristown, Pa.

(53,661 posts)That's a bit offtopic from what you're saying, but I just wanted it on the record, that they love the weapons trade more than they love America. While at the same time they want to invade them for being 'evil.'
And they have never varied from their scheme to make Obama a one-term president, no matter how many people are hurt by defying the will of the people who voted him in.

(56,828 posts)If they can keep hamstringing Obama on everything, his entire presidency will look like a failure and that means a Republic is more likely to be elected in 2016.

(53,661 posts)If we don't shove these jerks out of office in 2014, they'll have a narrative for 2016.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)but, the most likely nominee is Hillary, and they'll tie her to Obama every way they can. Benghazi was all about hurting Obama for 2012 and Hillary for 2016. Nothing else, really.

(53,661 posts)Since Rand Paul went after Hillary and is the CPAC favorite, it'll be totally disgusting. The GOP will present their first full Teabagger presidential candidate. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and Mittens will try again. I can't fathom the mentality that loves Graham, Cruz, Rubio and Paul. All of them are scoundrels. The next few years will be nauseating.

(56,828 posts)Chris Christie is conservative, but not as radically right-wing as the ones you mentioned... and Christie is very popular nationally with moderates and the "less intense" voters. But, will they vote in primaries for him without the big money behind him like Mitt had?
There's almost no way Christie wins Iowa or South Carolina, so he'd need to win New Hamshire to stay viable. (Remember moderate Rudy Giuliani and him putting all his eggs in the Florida basket, and ending up spending $50 million for 1 delegate..?)

(53,661 posts)The baggers have the Koch money and the media in their pockets already. The Sanford race may show if Rand and FreedomWorks are a force to be reckoned with. If the voters vote for that scumbag, they'll go with anything.
I think the big money will be with the baggers. Wouldn't be happy with Christie, either, though. He'd be just as likely to sell off everything like Jeb, Rick Scott, Scott Walker and the rest of the beholden to Koch crooks.
Gosh, just thinking about these people makes me wanna .

I am also pissed the party of Hannity and Limbaugh and all the rest is now selling the narrative that it is the Democrats who are divisive!! Are they totally delusional or do they think we are just plain stupid!
The test is coming next year..if they win more seats in the 2014 election this will only encourage them.. We must start NOW getting ready to crush these cockroaches once and for all .as soon as possible!
