and its clear she's not a flaming leftie; she's in business in S. Carolina. Her presentation is quite good.

Supports expanded background checks.

I missed most of it so I hope that someone will summarize how they think the debate went. Who would you consider won the debate? Will it have any impact on the election?

the bad weather there. Although she's running in a Repub. district in SC, she got applause for saying she's for gay marriage, expanded background checks for guns, and the coming immigration reform, all which Sanford opposes.

And Sanford got some boos for repeatedly trying to link her with Nancy Pelosi.

11. Watching Here In The Great State Of Indiana/Ohio As An Armed Security Officer....

I have to say I really wish she would have pushed back more, defended the Chamber of Commerce Less, & stood up for OUR PRESIDENT & the Leadership, positions & policies of the Democratic Party.

I live in Indiana which is equally as Republican as South Carolina & I have to say even our most so called 'conservative' Democratic candidates for Congress defended our President & our Party Platform more than she did tonight & most of our candidates don't have the luxury of the national media attention of running against a man who not only cheated on his wife and lied about it, but a man who cheated on and lied to the people who elected him Governor of the state he now seeks to represent in Congress.

I was surprised that people in the audience actually pushed back & called bullshit on his constant bringing up of Nancy Pelosi & trash talk about Obama Care & gun control than she did, quite frankly I was disappointed in her performance TONIGHT, however I do give her the benefit of the doubt & give credit where credit is due, after all as I write this at this moment career Politics on both sides of the aisle came together to help me out and make me believe in myself and the endless chore of responsibilities LOL!!!

12. Unlike Republicans I Admit That I Unfairly Rushed To Judgment & My Criticism Was Unfounded...

Well first and foremost I would like to apologize to anyone & everyone who may have been offended by my original reply to this post concerning the debate performance of OUR Democratic nominee in the SC 1st District Congressional Election, Mrs. Colbert-Busch.

I watched the entire debate from start to finish and while I am a resident of Indiana & have no vote in this race, I am following this election closely & I am optimistic that Mrs. Colbert-Busch will indeed WIN this election which has more implications than just that of the voters of South Carolina's 1st Congressional District. In my opinion this election is about far more than picking up a house seat, this election is about far more than the Republicans nominating a candidate who has proved to be a lying, cheating, corrupt scumbag POS who thinks that he did nothing wrong-- this election in my opinion will prove to the Republicans in Congress & every American that in this country we actually do have a choice in our elected representatives, and WHEN Mrs. Colbert-Busch becomes Representative Colbert-Busch it will be a huge morale boost for Democrats & Independents alike who are, like most Americans, sick & tired of Congressional Republicans doing everything they can to do nothing, this election will prove thats not how we do business in this country & if Republicans want to do everything they can to do nothing than we, the American people, will kick their lazy do nothing no good asses right out the door so they have plenty of time to take a hike...

So I say to all who read this simply enough: In the final days of this campaign from New York to LA, from Arizona to Indiana, from Florida to Ohio, to Pennsylvania, Michigan and all other states in this country, please lets do ALL we can to put 110% effort into ensuring not only that Mrs. Colbert-Busch wins this election, but also to send a message to Republicans & Conservative Democrats alike that the American people actually do have choices, and elections have consequences & its damn sure time that the elected officials who are sitting on their ass doing everything they can to block any legislation that would be of benefit to the millions of Americans who like myself & my family are living paycheck to paycheck & are in a very real danger of slipping into poverty.

SO LET US LEAN FORWARD MY FELLOW DEMOCRATS!!!
