Do WI Republicans hate poor people.

Walker wants to abolish unions.
Johnson wants to overthrow Obamacare.
Ryan wants to cut food stamps.

Do the Republican actually believe that 100 percent of the wealthy persons income came from hard work... Or are they getting bribed to give wealthy people huge tax cuts and subsidies and cut Food stamp and Medicaid?..

and, remember, that, as Republicans see it as "us vs. them (others)". If THEY are able to do something, their logic goes, anybody, regardless of their circumstances, past, parents, etc. can too. They fail to understand that everybody's circumstances are different and that not everybody is brought into this world under the best circumstances and all of the advantages that they might have been given. Everybody's starting block is the same, so they think. Also, they fail to understand that the proper human reaction to people in need is to show them some compassion and help them (at least that's the "Christian" thing to do and aren't they forever telling us ours is a "Christian" nation? ). Their reaction to human suffering is pretty much like they are standing on a deck of a ship and somebody has fallen overboard and they decide to just sit there and refuse to throw the victim a lifesaver because they think, after all, maybe that person should've been more careful and now they should just hurry up and drown. Maybe not all of them are quite THAT heartless but it's not much better in most cases when it comes to people they consider "unworthy" or "undeserving" of help for whatever rationalizations they come up with.

I know some Republicans who are, but they're all disgusted with the GOP. I keep telling them to switch parties but they all have the same excuse - "I've always been Republican. My parents were Republican. My grandparents were Republican..."

They can't stand what their party is doing but keep voting for the same assholes who are doing it. Go figure.

Because they are enabling the assholes who are doing EVERYTHING to be as opposite to Christ as possible.

They follow what they are told to do, be it the preacher or the politician. That simplistic "faith" without analysis is what churches depend on and there are a frightening number of people who don't have the slightest idea what "allegory" means or bother to try interpreting the text for themselves.

I think in most cases it is innocent, but there are a lot who are willfully ignorant. The ones who use these people to their advantage are the true offenders.

Yes.....Of course....But every other rethuglican, everywhere else does too...

And yes, they accept bribes.....It's so much easier to be paid what to think,do and say, than figure it out themselves or try to ascertain whether they have any priciples and what they'd be....Saves so much time too.....

... that Walker's heroic public and private investigators (private!!!) have found in the food stamps program, tossing out big numbers while ignoring the tiny percentages.

A lurid example of how welfare recipients are spending Wisconsin welfare money in Illinois nicely completes the smear.

That whole rap about them and their newspaper being centrist is a bunch of bullshit. The paper is a rag, getting more and more expensive while slashing most of the substantial content. Left-leaning columnists have been offered buyout dismissals while half-assed right-wing columnists get their asses kissed. They haven't employed an editorial cartoonist for years, but I imagine it's because they'd rather run cartoons from hacks like Michael Ramirez and Lisa Benson.

And their other media properties? TMJ4 is all shock-and-awe 'journalism', with stories about EBT fraud, black criminals and dirty inner city restaurants. And don't get me started on the radio station, which is essentially the main propaganda outlet for the Wisconsin GOP, and chief asskisser for the likes of Walker and Ryan. When possible, I prefer the news on ch. 12 (ironic that Milwaukee's best news operation is owned by Hearst) or ch. 58 (which is too low-budget to do the fancy stuff). Both do straight reporting without the bullshit. Fox 6 is okay, but they're a bit heavy on the fluff.

So many people in Wisconsin are poorly informed and filled with rage because they're being pumped with nonsense from our terrible media.

Technically, WI Republicans hate African Americans, and pretty much all their vitriol comes from the little voice in the back of their heads grumbling about the "*******" in Milwaukee. It works pretty well here too, because a lot of poor rural (white) folks in Wisconsin will gleefully accept losing services and benefits if they perceive that the city folks (blacks) are getting it worse. I won't even get started on how they look at Native Americans....
