The face of evil

Last edited Sat Feb 23, 2013, 05:32 AM - Edit history (1)

In a rare flash of community-wide anger and suspicion, normally laid back ol' Austin, Texas, continued to react overnight to the trial of rich, right-wing killer Gabrielle Nestande. The jury's fishy conduct and sentencing recommendation could be ignored by the judge in the case. Otherwise, we will be seeing more of Nestande's Cheshire Cat grin as she prances past Courtney Griffin's body. (Warning: The more you read about Nestande and this case the angrier you will get.)

to the fact that the 1% and their Republican lackeys are above and beyond any real system of justice. And that the rest of us are far below it.

That a rich blonde Republican bimbette can skate after being so unconcerned about hitting someone with her car that she just drove on is not going to be lost on many people.

Let's just hope there is a really nasty civil suit in the works.

Nestande's father is a former adviser to Ronald Reagan. One of the first things she told the cops was that she is a former Perry campaigner. She's also a former aide to state legislator/anti-birth control weirdo Wayne Christian, who was one of the forces behind the vaginal ultrasound law.
According to Californians responding to the trial, the Nestande family may no longer be welcome there either.

It gets worse and I really shouldn't ruin the rest of your weekend. Have a safe one.
