Rubio Slams Obama's Teleprompter While In Front Of Telemprompters At CPAC.. Circa 2010

The Tea Party's choice in the Florida Republican primary, Marco Rubio, began his address to a crowd of conservative conventioneers by taking a shot at President Obama for reading from a teleprompter. He did it while standing in front of two easily visible teleprompters.

It was unclear whether the devices were placed there for him or for other speakers at the Conservative Political Action Committee conference, or CPAC, at which he was a keynote speaker. A HuffPost reporter, however, watched his speech from the front row and Rubio could clearly be seen looking intently and repeatedly at the teleprompters. He also had a stack of papers with him at the lectern and flipped through them as the speech progressed, perhaps unwilling to take any chance he would flub the swipe at Obama.

1. It was pretty obvious during his SOTU response he was using a teleprompter

His gymnastics while grabbing for a bottle of water appeared to be caused by his not wanting to take his eyes off the teleprompter for fear he'd lose his place.

At least that's how it looked to me.

it's what made me think of his Blatant Hypocrisy. And, there's this gem which I had forgotten.. Rubio was the one who lost a page of his speech..

Ed Schultz Uses Marco Rubio’s Speech Gaffe To Throw Teleprompter Attacks Back At GOP

In a segment about how lukewarm the Republican Party appears about their brand new nominee Mitt Romney tonight, Schultz took a moment to note that “Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was supposed to be the guy who could shore up Romney’s conservative credentials by joining him on the ticket as vice president.” He ceded that Sen. Rubio was a “great attack dog… on everything from the economy to teleprompters.” And then he lost a page of his speech, paper being a sort of low-resolution teleprompter of a long-gone generation. His guest, Howard Fineman, deadpanned that he, too, forgot the last page of his speech tonight, and, ending the segment, Schultz took one last dig: “Howard Fineman never uses a teleprompter– he knows his material, unlike Marco Rubio.”

Rubio making fun of Pres Obama using a teleprompter and then when his big moment arrives at the SOTU.. he gets busted for trying to Quick Duck and Hide to get back to his Place on the.. wait for it.. TELEPROMPTER!
