John Boehner leads one half of the most unproductive Congress in history; yet, today he told President Obama to do his job.
In the ultimate blame Obama statement, Boehner said:
John Boehner leads a House of Representatives that is one half of the most unproductive Congress in the history of the country. The nation might be able to get things done if the House was in session for more than 124 days this year, and House Republicans would stop passing bills that have no hope of surviving the Senate.
Speaker Boehner and his fellow House Republicans are the equivalent of the lazy relative who is living on your couch and eating all of your food. Except, these moochers on our national couch are costing the taxpayers millions of dollars in salary and benefits each year.

While Obama is trying to make immigration reform and gun control a reality, John Boehner is leading a body that recently tried to repeal Obamacare for the 34th time.
Apparently, irony is completely lost on Speaker Boehner.

(30,058 posts)If they had time to run a bill through 34 times then one of those times should be an AWB. ADumb budget luke the ones they have offered in the past is stupid also. I think they are doing a good job of stupid now trying to govern would be nice.

(3,783 posts)it's what they do. Boehner can't do his job because the tea party is crazy so he blames Obama for his own incompetence. Take a drink, John. We know you need one.

(24,414 posts)It's as if the Senate passing a non-binding budget resolution (that is DOA in the House anyway) is the most important thing in the world and is going to (somehow) solve all of our problems or something.
BTW what do House members do on the (many) days they are not in session?
