A measure providing $51 billion for relief and recovery from Hurricane Sandy was approved by a bipartisan majority in the House on Tuesday evening, three weeks after Northeast Republicans excoriated the chamber's GOP leaders for failing to vote on storm aid before the end of the last Congress.
The full $51 billion relief bill passed the House 241-180, with 179 Republicans opposed.

They are the ones who want austerity, give it to them.
No don't cut the social safety net but there is plenty of federal dollars that can easily be taken away providing the cuts they want but in their backyard. Force them to vote no against the guts they want.
That is compromise and payback.
Oh yeah and fun to boot!

Let's see how their constituents react then. Oh, everyone print out this list for any future presidential run (P. Ryan??) by these who voted "no" to fellow american victims!!!

Not sure who the Dem was that voted against it. I looked at the names and could pick that one out.
Oregon delegation voted 4-1 for the bill.
