Obama sticker pays off - for REAL!

This is good for a chuckle - and it's true! It happened to me just yesterday.....

Wife wanted a couple things from Costco. I wasn't in the mood for elbowing with the hordes in the store, so I opted to wait in the car while she got what she needed. So I'm sitting there listening to the radio and watching folks come and go with their purchases.
It was a bit stuffy in the car so I got out and shuffled about a bit. At one point, I observe the rear window of my Toyota and all the political stickers there affixed. A fair number of them were looking tired and were actually sorta passe. So I started picking at the corners of them to see if I could pull some off. Some came off easily, others required some help from my pocket knife. I confess I had an Obama - Biden sticker right above a Rocky for President sticker. Hedging my bets, I guess.
Anway, just as I start to peel the Obama sticker loose, there's a horn honk and some excited cat-calling from behind me. I turn to see a dollar being waved at me by a gal leaning out the passenger's side window of a beat-lookin' Dodge PU truck. I was confused at first. I just stared at this goofy scene. Then the guy driving hollers: "Please! Take it! Take it! (referring to the dollar bill his gal was waving at me).
So I take a few steps to where I can reach the offered dollar. Billy Bob leans across his galfriend and explains: "Seein' that there Obama sticker git peeled off'n you car is the best thing I've seen all day! I jus want's ta give ya a reward fer doin' a good thing!"
Well, I took that dollar. Hey - a dollar is a dollar, right? I feigned a grin and took the "reward". This morning I gave IT and some other dollars to the local food bank. Wonder how Billy-Bob would feel about that?

BTW, I still have the "Equal" sticker, the "Good without a God" sticker and the "Not A Republican!" sticker, in place. I'd bet my redneck reveller wouldn't have a CLUE as to what the Equal symbol means.

Nice the food bank got the money but, I'd be like.. "seriously, dude? Just making room for my nice new magnetic Obama Sticker that I've had on my Fridge"

Was after taking the dollar they watch you remove the last of the Pres. Obama sticker and replace it with a brand new one. hehe
