Trumps team is lying about Taiwan call: It reportedly took months to plan

Donald Trump’s protocol-breaking telephone call with Taiwan’s leader was an intentionally provocative move that establishes the incoming president as a break with the past, according to interviews with people involved in the planning.

The historic communication — the first between leaders of the United States and Taiwan since 1979 — was the product of months of quiet preparations and deliberations among Trump’s advisers about a new strategy for engagement with Taiwan that began even before he became the Republican presidential nominee, according to people involved in or briefed on the talks.

The call also reflects the views of hard-line advisers urging Trump to take a tough opening line with China, said others familiar with the months of discussion about Taiwan and China.

Lying to other heads of States will get you into trouble。 Trumps habit of lying will unnerve other world leaders。They will not put up with his double face lies。

Greece falsified the financial reports it sent to the ECB from 2000 to 2009. That's why the EU no longer trusts Greece.

That's why Schäuble is so merciless when it comes to the greek economy: No more leeway, no more goodwill, no more promises, no more favors. From now on, everything is done by the book.

Greece's economy could have been saved if the EU had been willing to accept a plan where the EU helps now and Greece promises to enact reforms later. But the EU had no trust that Greece would actually keep its word. (Would you trust somebody who lied to you for 9 straight years???) That's why Schäuble was against immediate relief and insisted on a comprehensive plan that took everything into account, but took so long to write that Greece's economy eventually collapsed.

That's what will happen to the US.

No more leeway, no more goodwill, no more promises, no more favors. From now on, everything is done by the book. Because you cannot trust anything Trump says.
