In context, what I suspect was that he was going the direction of something more like "the anti-war government negotiate-with-the-terrorists pussy liberal..." If that were the case, of course, he did himself a much greater disservice by not finishing the run-on sentence fragment.

But then, here is a guy so whacked out that he derails himself by declaring a War on Pornography. I think that in itself is effectively campaign suicide for Little Ricky; going for the Jesse Helms vote doesn't quite carry over into the 21st Century. But between that, the "bullshit" episode, and his zeal to merge church and state, it's not impossible that maybe he was "going there" until one of his handlers gave him the throat-slit hand signal. At this point, I put nothing past him.
