It's like a joke now.

I can't believe they let this unsavory craziness go on.

I'm hoping to shelter in place for 4 years.

I hold the media largely responsible for this mess and I have lost all respect for them. I don't even watch Chris or Rachel. I remember how many times they all covered Trump wall to wall, totally neglecting the Clinton campaign events.

To hell with them all.

operate under RW Comcast, they follow the Comcast agenda for NBC. Today, there are way too many other avenues for news, and frankly without the endless advertising and media heads gabbing to each other.

I quit long ago, for a very strange reason.

When that pipeline exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, and Keith Olbermann had that picture of the oil pumping out of the ground, just pumping and pumping that filth into the sea, I couldn't watch anymore. I just had to stop.

I cannot say that I miss it. And, I will not start now, because I can't stand to look at or hear about Cheeto Benito, and I am really pissed off at the corporate media, because I believe that they bear a lot of responsibility for his "election". I am actually down to pretending that November 8th didn't really happen, but is just a really bad teevee show (it's gonna be a long four years). I can read as much news as I want, right here at DU. Thank goodness it's such a great site!

I keep hearing this statement, or story or something, that the media wanted Cheeto to be President because it would be good for ratings. I miss some of this stuff because I don't watch.

Wouldn't it be fairly easy to make sure they don't get those ratings? Any chance we could somehow send a message to the greedy that we are not interested in watching this shit show?

Boycott teevee? Turn off corporate teevee news?

Someone with good skills could make a viral video that shows how they put their finger on the scales of the 2016 election. I think it's worth a try, and people who try will get an added benefit of having some time not spent being told what to think.

Free Speech TV. Thom Hartman. Amy Goodman. Amy had a one-hour interview with Bernie today. His longest since the election. The only sanity in current events.
