Is it time for the Trumps to admit that the Presidency is just another fleeting pastime?

The story below that Melania and Barron would not be moving to Washington was reported a week ago. I said then that this story is just another lie to buy time and give Trump enough time to become securely entrenched officially into the pretend role of President without having to sacrifice anything personally for it. I never believed that Trump would move into the White House full time because I thought he would consider it beneath his dignity to live there. I said this in response to a comment he had made regarding the new Trump hotel in Washington DC during the campaign several months before its opening. He made a comment that he might decide to live in the new Hotel rather than the White House should be win. You can't get any get more explicit than that. The story now is that they don't want to disrupt 10 year old Barron's school year. As if a 10 year old couldn't possibly adapt to changing schools in the middle of the school year, like former presidents and vice-presidents' children have been doing since the birth of this nation. I guess if we're lucky, they might move to Washington during the summer. And then, maybe not.

Future first lady Melania Trump has no plans to move into the White House come January, the New York Post reported Sunday.

The former model, 46, and son Barron, 10, plan to continue living in the Trump Tower penthouse so the fourth-grader can stay at the private school he attends, at least through the end of the school year, the Post reported.

“Melania is extremely close to Barron, and they have become closer during the campaign,” a source close to Trump’s transition team told the Post. “The campaign has been difficult for Barron, and she is really hoping to keep disruption to a minimum.”

The story left open the possibility Trump and Barron would move to Washington during the summer.

Nevertheless, I am so glad that he and his mother have grown closer during the campaign. Sigh!!!

They're reverting to their usual lifestyle, because the enormity of the presidential job is finally becoming clear to them---and they're scared shitless.

But, hey, at least we avoided Hillary and all her email problems. Right, gang?
