Does everyone still know "We shall overcome?"

I've been thinking about a rallying song. What got me started was the thought that I might witness booing or other harassment of a Muslim. What would I do? If I started singing We Shall Overcome would others recognize it?

I read somewhere that these days the only songs you can count on all members of a mixed group to be able to sing are Happy Birthday and Auld Lang Syne...

Last week I listened to Pete Seeger sing it on the way home from work and had to fight to hold back tears so I could drive.
