That point where you realize you are being mugged.

I've been mugged. One minute you are talking to someone conventionally, trustingly. Then you get this feeling like maybe something's wrong. You look a little closer at the person's face and suddenly you realize that yes, indeed, they are the real deal. You are about to be the victim of a crime.

After that you understand (as you always do "after" something) that mugging really happens. It becomes a lot less likely that you are going to be mugged again.

We Dems got mugged this time. It wasn't like in 2000 where it just looked like we got cheated by the SCOTUS putting its thumb on the scale. This time, the mask came off completely.

In Ohio because of the court's Citizen's United ruling we got unending and totally false
ads aimed at Ted Strickland blaming him for the bad economy in the state that was made
by Republicans and blaiming him for jobs leaving the state but forgetting to mention that
Portman saw 100s of thousands of jobs leave America when he worked in the dept. of trade (?)
under w bush.

This was a coup.
