Morning Joe speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

He began the hour by blathering about how unAmerican it was to make someone pay union dues to a UNION. He rattled on and on about why should he be required to pay dues to a UNION and workers should have a right to decide whether or not they wanted to pay dues to a union based on their individual perceived benefit. He later mentioned the fact that right to work states had the lowest wages, highest levels of welfare, unhealthiest residents due to lowest levels of health care, no pensions, etc.

I must have missed what changed (somewhere between my living room and my car to dry to work), but somehow by the end of the first hour he had had an epiphany and was talking up the praises of the US car manufacturers in Michigan and how they have made a comeback, and the industry is doing well selling cars and the strongest its been in a decade and attributed it to the commitment of the autoworkers and even suggested that they should go up to Michigan and do a show from there soon.

What a hypocrit.

Can't let go of his gut ideology (nor various chips on his shoulder), so his immediate reaction will always be collectivism = bad. But he's still kinda pragmatic, and lets enough reality seep in that he ends up at war with himself between what he 'believes' and what he sees.

Mika sure does look great in that sweater though. Yep.

commentary or news outlets are non Union. CNN, FoxNews, all of them. Joe might be a member of a Union from some other gig, but not from MSNBC.

rightwing rants. Thank God Gov. Dean showed up to flesh out the union perspective. For folks not up on the situation, Ford actually agreed with Joe and reinforced the argument that it was unamerican to deny workers "choice."

to work also applies to Businesses? It seems to me the Republicans were talking out of both the sides of their mouths in the Election. What about forced dues paid to Businesses?
