But it was so lovely. I can imagine her saying it.
I missed this tweet--dated the day after the horrible election.

There are no winners. Half the country has openly voted for the oppression of LGBT's,
minorities', and women's rights.

(1,429 posts)You must be having a laugh, right? I would have to think most would have changed to vote in closed primaries?
Also, a tonne switched from Obama to Trump. The whole election seems all fucked. Every angle, every outcome. I was finally starting to feel better and now I am so upset again. That anti LGBT new law terrifies me. I am starting to wonder why I even keep my US Citizenship.

(109,009 posts)this election might well have been tampered with, and there should be an audit. Unfortunately, in states that use electronic machines with no paper trail, there is no satisfactory way to do that.

(1,429 posts)that is about to hit the nation. I fear the entire civil rights movement is going to be rolled back to pre Brown v Board of Education days. The Republicans are going to have the SCOTUS too. I so hope the old liberal lion judges can hold on for 4 years.

(109,009 posts)To see someone like Hillary, who did such a terrific job in the debates, and had such a strong resume, defeated by the evil male clown.
No election has ever hit me like this before.

(92,454 posts)In Michigan, Hillary lost by .3%. Jill Stein received 1.3% of the vote. A similar situation occurred in Wisconsin, and other key states, which did make the difference in the election.
Anyone who voted for trump either a racist or has issues with race.
