The people who busted Tom DeLay probing another big fish.......

Last edited Wed Dec 12, 2012, 06:17 AM - Edit history (2)

Maybe a lot of big fish. Note the people responsible for monitoring CPRIT --Perry, Abbott, Combs, Luce....... and this part of the timeline: "Nov. 18, 2012: The Dallas Morning News reports that companies run by Dallas businessman David Shanahan got $12.8 million in CPRIT grants after Shanahan and his associates gave $90,000 to the campaigns of Gov. Rick Perry and Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst."

I guess the two have a lot in common. De Lay, the scum, hasn't served a single day yet.

to my knowledge. I thought we were all equal under the law...but none of us would see daylight in the same situation. We live in a corrupt country.

Now, if you have some evidence of corruption, I'm sure we will take that up.

and why is he not waiting in jail during his appeal? Is it because it's white collar crime? It just seems to me that if you're rich, white or well connected etc. you have one brand of justice while everyone else has another. It's been three years and the guy has been on dancing with the stars for gawds sake.

Kids have their lives ruined for smoking pot and this guy pays nothing for breaking the law.

Seems corrupt to me.

...to see how this one comes out. CPRIT = "The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute."
Sounds perfectly innocuous, doesn't it? IT'S A FRONT COMPANY! Exec. Dir Bill Gimson, I would say, is in some deep doo-doo. However, seems these kinds of criminal high crimes things goes nowhere... you know, like Wall Street?
